NTMA Graduates Pass PRC Licensure Exam with Flying Colors
Four (4) deck cadet-graduates of NYK-TDG Maritime Academy (NTMA) belonging to Class 2011 took the recently concluded written licensure examination for Officer-In-Charge of Navigational Watch (OIC-NW) conducted by the Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) last 16 and 17 July 2011.
All of the said four (4) NTMA deck graduates passed and even landed in the top ten slots out of the 589 passers announced by PRC last 20 July 2011.
Topnotchers were:

3rd - Lemuel T. Capiral (90.60%)
5th - Liel R. Gonzales (90.00%)
8th - Zaldy F. Veluz (88.50%)
On the other hand, 11 NTMA deck cadet-graduates got 100% passing rate in the July 2011 Walk-in licensure examination for OIC-NW held in the Associated Marine Officers' and Seamen's Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP) in Intramuros, Manila.

The fifteen (15) deck cadet-graduates comprised the first group to take the board examination among the 116 cadets of the pioneering batch of NTMA who will be graduating on 16 September 2011.
